Sushant: could not practice what he preached in ‘Chhichhore’

Sushant: could not practice what he preached in ‘Chhichhore’

Life is Beautiful
‘Sushant Singh Rajput’ takes away his own life!

What one gets by doing this? Peace! Seemingly today he got rid of whatever situation he was facing. However, can he even enjoy that peace? Because, to enjoy; one has to be alive.  Ending life is no solution, as we don’t know what happens there after; that’s a mystery.

We must value ourselves and our parents who would have raised us with so much love, affection, expectations and would have sacrificed their own needs for our  wants, so that, we get the best . We have responsibilities towards our kids, who bestow so much of faith in our decisions and look-up to us as their natural hero. We must prepare and train ourselves, our children and siblings to face vagaries of life like a battle hardened soldier; accept failures and success with equal grace and fight back by taking learning from the past failures and not succumb to them.

We aspire and we acquire- wealth, fame, power, intimacy of our sweet heart, affection of near and dear ones, any material or non-material thing, on the altar of this very life.  However, none of these can become our masters, ruling our mind and heart, becoming bigger than our own life. Eventually, some day, when we are dead and gone, we are going to lose all of these any which ways!

We had come alone in this world, empty handed and likewise we would depart. So, why should we get unduly perturbed if we were to live alone in life and lose some or all of these goodies by the way side. Why moan for the things, which we only have created.

Solution of the problem lies within the problem; it’s just that we are not able to see, due to our mind getting clouded with anger, emotional drift or sense of loss. Those who stay put, may gain more than they had lost, provide they stop grieving over the spilled milk, get up and get going towards newer goals with more gusto, zeal and with a vengeance of a winner.

Shri. Amitabh Bachchan is an example of a ‘rise and fall and rise in life’. We call him a living legend, and an example to be emulated.
Mrs. Indira Gandhi, under an influence of famous ‘JP Movement’, had terribly lost an election. Many thought that she would run away from India. However, Mrs. Indira Gandhi gave back, fought back, tooth and nail, and regained power with thumping majority. We remember her as an ‘Iron Lady’ of Indian Politics, who had heart of a Lioness.
Shri. Dhirubhai Ambani, in the prime time of his career suffered stroke, which left him partially paralysed, but, he never gave up and carried on with his march to make Reliance Industries a world class corporation; we remember him as the doyen of India Industry.
We all would remember Mr.Irfan Khan who had will to survive and fought like a warrior in the face of death- A true gladiator who died fighting like a winner.

Death of Sushant has deeply shaken us; we lost a wonderful actor. He was winner all along, could have stood the test of time as he had so much to draw inspiration from his glorious past records. He could not act well on the stage of life, when he had face-off with an unthinkable in his own definition and caved in. At the same time I  still feel their could be some foul play!

We all should cultivate good friends and family members, within whom we can safely confine, without having fear of being judged, as they can guide us in our trying times. Many are living a lonely world; maybe he was one of them, who saw no go but, go forever; sad indeed.

‘Winners never quit and quitters never win’ is a spirited old saying. In the game of life, we win some, we lose some. We have responsibility towards younger generations, and we must guide them with the dictum that, “no matter what, the show must go on”.

ना था कुछ तो ख़ुदा था , कुछ न होता तो ख़ुदा होता,
डुबोया मुझको होने नें, न मैं होता तो क्या होता ।

May your soul rest in peace dear Sushant.

Munching Time - The Immortals

Munching Time - The Immortals What truly defines a human being? At our core, we are living entities governed by the most sophisticated part of our body— The Brain . I’m not here to write a medical thriller like one of Robin Cook’s bestsellers, nor am I scripting a sci-fi movie like Minority Report . Instead, I want to explore an idea that may seem like science fiction today but could become reality in the not-so-distant future. The human brain is the ultimate command center, a marvel of design, constantly processing and evolving. It stores our memories—our experiences, learnings, emotions, and reactions—and ultimately, it defines who we are. Beyond these memories, the rest of the human body serves as support: the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, sensory organs, limbs—all functioning to keep us alive, directed by the brain. Now, imagine the unimaginable: what if science and technology find a way to download the entirety of our memories, our consciousness, onto a memory chip ...

Slum Heart Millionaires - A True Incident

Slum Heart Millionaires This true story may never hit the headlines, lacking the sensational elements of corruption, crime, sex scandals, or scams. But its human touch reflects another beautiful reality of the island city of dreams, Mumbai. Like many Mumbaikars, I didn't take the weather bureau’s predictions seriously. I thought it wouldn’t rain as heavily —yet, the rain was relentless. Incessant, accompanied by thunder and lightning, the city was soon knee-deep in water, grinding to a halt as it often does during monsoon. For Mumbaikars, this is the price we pay for living here. I left my office in the upscale neighborhood of Powai at 7:30 p.m., expecting a quick 20-minute drive to my...

THE MASKED CITY

THE MASKED CITY I would still prefer to call ‘Mumbai’ as ‘Bombay’-colloquial to the city of dreamers, achievers and wanderers. The city where everyone believes dreams come true, was once made up of seven marshy islands, and was originally inhabited by fishermen, known as kolis. The islands were ruled by the Silahara Hindu rulers of Puri, who also built the city’s medieval Walkeshwar temple complex. It appears the islands became part of the maritime trading network of the north Konkan ports that the Silaharas controlled. This overseas trade brought in a floating population of traders and seafarers, including Hindus, Muslims, Arabs, Persians and Jews. Prosperity came, and since then, Bombay has been a magnet for migrants, from the arrival of the Arabs of the Gujarat sultanate, to the Portuguese who became the Roman Catholic converters of large swathes of Mumbai’s population, to the English in 1661. Everyone came to Bombay — from the Gujarati speaking trading and ...
